Artemis is an independent vocational training centre for performance art.

It offers full-time and part-time courses in the performance arts of storytelling, poetry speaking and acting at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Individuals seeking an orientation in the profession of the performing arts may take the first year of
the training as a foundation year. Foundation year students take the first level diploma in Speech and
Drama external examinations offered by Trinity Guildhall, A.T.C.L. (Associate of Trinity College London).

The three-year, full-time training is designed for all those interested in pursuing a professional career in the broad field of the performing arts. Graduates may become performers or specialise in teaching or therapeutic work. We welcome individuals over 18 years of age wishing to learn professional skills and looking to change and develop themselves.

Third-year students take the Trinity Guildhall second level diploma in Speech and Drama, L.T.C.L(Licentiate of Trinity College London). This Qualification is fully accredited in the UK and recognised internationally as equivalent to a B.A. degree.

A fourth, postgraduate year of training leads to a Goetheanum diploma.

The full-time training and all other courses in the three performance arts that Artemis offers are
founded in the ongoing exploration of the creative forces that live at the heart of all language, hence our name School of the Living Word. These forces enable the body, voice and breath of the performer to make both visible and audible the whole range of human experience.

Artemis accepts new students into the foundation year[1st year] annually. The full-time three-year training begins in September. Auditions are held throughout the year.
